Michael W. Brewer

Michael W. Brewer, an associate, joined the firm in 2012.  Before joining the firm, Michael worked for 15 years at the Arizona Legislative Council as a Council Attorney drafting legislation in the areas of taxation, labor, immigration and welfare.  Michael is a native Arizonan and graduated from the University of Arizona before attending Arizona State University College of Law where he received the Dean’s Award for his contributions to the law school.  Michael practices primarily with the Firm’s Nonprofit Practice Group serving faith-based nonprofit organizations, churches, ministries and secular nonprofit organizations by counseling boards on board governance, tax, employment and other business matters.  Michael also assists clients with legislative bill drafting and advises political campaign committees regarding election law and campaign finance.
